Q: Can I book a chef seen on TV?
A: Yes. Regardless if your wish list is David Adjey or Ted Reader, we have the perfect choice for your event and budget.

Q: I want to book a chef for our summer menu launch; will they come and do a special menu for us as well as be part of the party?
A: Yes. With the popularity of the Food Network, chefs are often a recognizable and a big draw.

Q: Can one of your chefs cook dinner in my home?
A: Yes, many of the chefs in between their shooting schedules are often asked and booked for Ultimate Dinner events. Guest numbers range but the average is between 4 to 10 guests.

Q: Do I have to pay for food on top of the fee?
A: No. All food expenses are included for a tasting menu ranging from 5-8 courses depending on the menu theme and style.

Q: Can I meet one of the chefs at the market?
A: Yes and it is a popular request from chefs often spotted at the St. Lawrence Market.

Q: Our company wants to book a chef for an evening. Is there any takeaway you include for our guests?
A: Yes, and most often, it is customized with your corporate logo whether it be a best selling cook book or their own hand-pressed olive oil from Italy. Regardless, each gift is packaged beautifully and will highlight the theme for your evening.

Q: Where do you hold these “Ultimate Dinner” experiences?
A: Depending on the chef, it ranges from your own home to selected penthouses around the city. This allows your guests to move & mingle before and after dinner. *please see our Photo Gallery

Q: How do I confirm a chef?
A: We require 50% deposit to confirm a chef and to block their calendar for your event. The balance is due two weeks before your event date.

Q: Can I use my Visa/MasterCard?
A: Yes.

Q: If I book a chef for more than 1 day, is there a discount?
A: Every situation is different depending on your location, specific times needed, etc., but most chefs do offer a reduced fee if your event is 2 days or more.

Q: We have a fundraiser and need to know if any of the chefs have a charity rate?
A: Yes. Some chefs have charity rates in addition to their full day rates, depending on your location and charity. Please enquire with a list of details for your event when requesting a chef.

Q: We've been in business for 20 years but we need an update with our menu as well as some kitchen training. Do you provide chefs for this?
A: Yes, with the popularity of Restaurant Makeover, there are dozens of restaurants that enquire about booking a chef (and designer) for their restaurants.

Q: Do the chefs travel?
A: You better believe it! Our recent bookings include the Yukon Territories, Montreal and Moncton as well as Ohio, Colorado and New York.

Q: Can I book a chef from Iron Chef America?
A: Yes. Regardless if they were a competitor or a constant on Iron Chef America.

Q: My client wants to launch a new kitchen product. Do the chefs offer endorsements?
A: Yes. Many agencies throughout Canada and the USA use our services to arrange the best suited chef for your product or work together with you on your favourite choice. Our chefs have become “Brand Ambassadors” for many successful campaigns from Kraft to GE, Molson to Birks.

Q: How do you know if the chef has already endorsed a competitive product?
A: Before we work with any chef, we create a Media Inventory going back at least 10 years. When you choose a chef through us, you can rest assured; there will be no competitor overlap in regards to endorsements and your product message.

Q: Do you have chefs that speak French, Italian, etc?
A: Yes.

Q: Do you know which chefs are coming to town?
A: Yes. We have a detailed calendar of chefs in your home city as well as a listing of their cook book tours, press tours, show tapings & interviews and TV show productions. If they're filming in Saskatoon, we know about it!

Q: We are having a food and wine festival next fall. Can you recommend some fun chefs?
A: Absolutely! We understand that sometimes when the ticket price for these events are high, people attending expect a lot of interaction with the familiar faces seen on Food Network. We recommend chefs who have that certain personality which is engaging, fun and outgoing… and love taking photos!

Q: I want to book a chef but I don't think I have the budget?
A: Call us anyway. We do work with many tradeshows, charities and events throughout Canada and can share some tips on how they were successful. We have come up with some creative solutions for many of our clients. Ask us first!

Q: Do you book chefs not on TV? I would love to book a chef from Toronto for my event in Vancouver.
A: Yes. We work with many successful award-winning chefs from across the country.

Q: I haven't seen your red Vespa's driving around yet. Are they driving around certain parts of Toronto?
A: We are driving around in downtown Toronto. Sometimes it will be someone from our office and sometimes it will be a chef. Do stop to say hello if you see us.

Q: Is it fun working with chefs?
A: There's nothing better! Our office is teamed with “foodies” who love what they do and who they get to do it with. Chefs are always bringing food to our offices and our hungry sales team. Thank you Chefs!

Q: I want to have a cooking class / dinner for me and my girlfriends. Which chef do you recommend?
A: You be the judge! By calling us today, we can hear more about your event and recommend the best chef. Whether you want to learn pasta by hand or the ultimate backyard BBQ evening, we know the right chef for the right event… allowing you to mingle with your guests and your guests, to be entertained by the chef and his/her stories.

Q: We're a restaurant in Montreal and want to launch a special menu for Grand Prix – can you recommend a celebrity chef from Toronto?
A: Yes, and from other parts of Canada as well, especially Vancouver. Bringing a chef from another province creates a “sense of urgency” and highlights your special event, as one not to miss for your customers.

Q: We're looking for a Canadian spokesperson for our client who has a national food brand and wants to launch a new organic product. Can you recommend any chefs?
A: Yes! Whether it's organic, 100 mile focused or simply supporting local farming, there are many chefs we represent who focus on being “green” and showing customers their options when their passion is organic.
